Responsibilities

• Support Documentation: I created thorough technical documents that would educate users about how to get started and get comfortable using the Bantam Tools Desktop CNC Milling Machine.

• Email Marketing Copywriting: I worked with the marketing team to brainstorm an 8-week long campaign. I was responsible for writing messaging, creating an email schedule, drafting each of these emails, and sending them.

• Ad Copy: I worked with the Director of Marketing and an outside ad agency to draft copy.

• FAQ Messaging: As with all product launches, I created an FAQ complete with anticipated questions and answers. The goal of this document is to help our team stay on brand when speaking with current and prospective customers. It also gives us a place to track common questions and identify content we may need to make to provide more clarity and/or proof.

• Social Media Copy & Schedule: Over the course of the launch I worked with the marketing team to coordinate posts that highlighted the new products and early users.

The launch of the Bantam Tools Desktop CNC Milling Machine was a huge milestone in Bantam Tools’ history. Leading up to the launch in 2020, Bantam Tools had produced the world-class Bantam Tools Desktop PCB Milling Machine, which was optimized for prototyping circuit boards. But this new desktop CNC machine would give users the power and precision they need to rapidly prototype aluminum parts in-house.
