Social Media Management
Social Media at MetroWall
To generate content for MetroWall’s social media I coordinated photo shoots to capture content. I worked closely with our video team to ensure we captured content that highlighted the individual project, our glass wall products, and MetroWall’s process. On the other hand, I worked to capture and share more content around the company culture, which is incredibly important at MetroWall. I have had the opportunity to cut more short-form videos for Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts. Upon joining the MetroWall team, my primary goal was to start establishing the brand’s visual identity and voice.
The social media channels I manage at MetroWall are:

I work closely with our executive video producer to brainstorm original content ideas for social. Additionally, I took photos and short videos to capture sneak peeks at the projects and what’s happening at Bantam Tools HQ. Below is an example of an Instagram story I ran around a topographic map project we were machining with the help of our Bantam Tools Desktop CNC Low-Profile Vise, as well as some samples of copy I’ve written for our posts.
Social Media at Shreve Williams Public Relations
As a part-time publicity assistant at Shreve Williams Public Relations, one of my primary responsibilities was to manage the company’s new Instagram account. Because the senior publicists I worked with were remote, they would send me photos of forthcoming books, video clips from readings, or pieces of media where one of their clients had been featured. They would also provide specifics for what they wanted to see in the copy that accompanied the visual. From this experience, I learned the importance of putting out timely content on social media. I also found that when it came to writing copy, brevity was always better than paragraphs of text because Instagram (compared to say LinkedIn or Facebook) was more about the visuals.
