This Week in Creating: Week 52 of 2023

This week in creating, I spent more time playing chess and eating cookies than putting words on paper. I caught up on sleep, spent time with family, and was forced to take a brief interlude to go into the office for two days. This week in creating, I sat in front of my computer most mornings with water on my left and coffee on my right. I watched Jungle Cruise, Indiana Jones: The Dial of Destiny, The Princess Bride, Call Me Kate, The Rescuers Down Under, and a lot of Deal or No Deal reruns. I took photos all week and actually shared them on social. This week in creating, I didn’t put a whole lot of words to paper, but it was enough to finish The Crypt Inspector, bringing a 2.2-year project to an end. But while I’m proud of finishing, I’m more proud that despite countless rewrites and mistakes I never gave up.
